i just remembered that i have never shared more of my sweet little nephew. i miss him and i'm elated that he's coming for a visit in a few weeks! here he is at 10 days old …

safe in daddy's arms (my brother)

he's looks so much like his uncle aaron!

family photographer - franklin, tn - williamson family

i first met rachel a year ago at her family/maternity session. she had me come back this year to capture her husband's side of the family. they're celebrating the 40 years his parents have been together. what a great reason to celebrate! here's a group favorite...

and in the arms of gramma, here's the little guy that is now almost one year old.

Rachel is a photographer herself and it's always an honor to be commissioned by other photographers. thanks so much for having me. i always have a great time with you guys! : )

children's photography - nashville, tn - mother and daughter

you may recognize this little cutie as i have been photographing her since she was 3 months old. she is now one and cute as ever! i can't say enough how fun it is to get to watch my clients grow. every time i see them is such a delight and i love this age because they are always learning new things. this time around, maddie was sitting and pulling up. her personality was shining and we had the best time.

love this little grin showing off her new teeth!

a sweet moment with mom

children's photography - nashville, tn - dillard

i am quite the lucky girl. i work in a field where creativity and artistry continually flow and evolve and there is always a new challenge to meet. i'm even luckier because i'm able to combine that with kiddos and dogs... my two favorites in this world. you can imagine how happy i am when i get to have both at the same time! here's dillard … a bright, spunky 2.5 year old. love his gorgeous locks!

baby photographer - franklin, tn - emma claire and parker reid

larry and ashley are proud new parents of twins parker and emma. i have known ashley since kindergarten and how fun it was to be able to see the life she has as a new mom. ashley was around when my love of photography began to burgeon. she's in many photos from junior high when all i had was a disposable and was my editor for high school yearbook. i was so proud to be able to see her with larry, parker and emma. such a beautiful family. and they are WONDERFUL parents. these two should never doubt that they're loved. here they are at eleven weeks old...

LOVE this one!

wide-eyed cutie

sleepy, sleepy emma

the new (and proud!) family

ashley and larry didn't find out they were expecting twins until five months into the pregnancy! even though it was surprising news, i don't think they could be happier.

baby photographer - nashville, tn - maddox

maddox recently turned one year old. to celebrate, i met up with his family and we had such a great afternoon! the weather was nice, we hit a couple of locations and maddox was all over the place. he kept me on the run the entire session ... it's tiring chasing after a one year old!! but, we got some great shots and he was a lot of fun.

how funny is this one!?

twins - newborn photographer - franklin, tn

meet elizabeth and brayden. nestled safely in mommy and daddy's arms.

not only do these two have people who are absolutely crazy about them (!), they have a very unique story... a miracle story. brayden and elizabeth made their debut into the world four months early. at birth they were each around 20 ounces including their brother spencer. spencer has since gone on to heaven, where i imagine he is cheering daily for elizabeth and brayden. after spending 4.5 months in NICU, brayden and elizabeth were free to go home! when i met them, these little ones were six months old weighing in at 8.5 and 10 pounds... and about as sweet as you can get! their parents were so fun to be around... have great taste in music, wonderful senses of humor and live inspiring lives. by the time our session was over, i felt i had known them for years. all of the above are reasons why i love my career so!

sweet brayden. spitten image of his dad!

spunky and healthy elizabeth. at birth she was able to wear her dad's wedding band as a bracelet. so strong now!

riley loves lovin' on his new siblings :)

one of the new family

thank you for choosing me as your baby photographer. i am so honored!

mother's day - family photography - nashville, tn

brian and i have both been a bit under the weather. we're on the mend today and i'm able to be back in the office this afternoon. hopefully, this will be all we see of what's going around!

can anyone else believe how quickly 2008 is passing us by? seriously, how are we practically through the 1st quarter of the year? i find it hard to believe that i'm already talking about mother's day! this photo brought it to mind. such a sweet little girl and i just love this mom's hair! :) so gorgeous.

if you need to think of the perfect gift for mom, why not go with a surprise photography session? you could book the session this month and have prints gifted for her of your beautiful children... even the furry ones :) in time for mother's day. contact me for details!

until next time,
adrian

the crafton's

meet kate crafton and her family. i met them in murfreesboro at a local park this week. i know kate because she is a photographer as well... and a great one at that! such a good eye! she is one of those people you love being around because of her energetic personality and i was so excited to finally meet her family. such great kiddos and an adorable english spaniel named darby. we ended the session by letting benny and darby play together. it was quite entertaining! it was a bit too dark for me to get any blog-worthy photos of them, but enjoy these of her family!

fails boys

this summer i met these twin brothers and i got to see them again on sunday. they greeted my by letting me know that they were still 4... they wanted to make sure i knew that their birthday hadn't happened since the last time we had seen each other :) we had a fun time together at the house and at a nearby creek. we even snuck their mom and dad in for a few.

lindsey family

on saturday afternoon i met up with the lindsey family. it was such a great time of day with the sun shining through the beautiful golden trees! they have 3 boys, 1 baby girl and 2 sweet puppies. it's a full house! but i had a lot of fun! the boys took me outside and showed me their zip line. (which is now something i think every child should have in their yard!) we played for a while and then i spent some time with their mom and baby sister. thanks for having me out. i hope you enjoy these!

showin' some brotherly love :)
