she calls me "adri" and loves to sing. she has gorgeous red hair and quite the vocabulary for a 2.5 year old. meet maddie! i had the best time with her and her pup, max. max gave me serious "i want a 2nd dog!" fever and i think you'll be able to see why...





at the end of our time together, maddie's mom and i discovered that we both have the same alma mater. crazy small world, seeing that our school had only around 1800 students at a time and we're both transplants to nashville. here they are sharing a story together.




ETA: i just got this in an email from maddie's mom
Maddie and I were in the car this morning and she was back there singing a song about "Adri", it was so cute! I asked her if she liked seeing you yesterday and she said, "Uh huh, I love her!"
THAT makes me heart melt!

wow, that's the longest i've been absent from the blogworld! thanks to those who checked in on me. i am doing better and am glad to be back on here. i have lots to share, so let's get started with this lovely session of jenna and ian.

when i first met jenna, i knew her and i would get along. she is one of those people that you love to be around because her love for life is simply contagious. i couldn't wait to photograph her and ian together! we were worried that the session might not happen because of the tricky weather here in middle tennessee. we had to reschedule several times, but we waited it out and had a great evening on the night of the shoot. what do you think, was it worth the wait?




jenna and ian will be married this summer and i'm so excited for their day to get here. see you soon!

last saturday, stefanie and ryan were married at the hermitage golf course in old hickory. it was a stormy day, but these two were great sports and stuck it out so we could get in all of their portraits before the sun went down. here are a couple of my favorites of them togther…
